TidyCam Privacy Policy

TidyCam (the “App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how the App handles information when using the camera, microphone, and Apple Photos library.

Data collection

The App does not require an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking. It does not upload your photos, videos, album names, category information, or baby birth date to the developer's servers.

Permissions

• Camera: Used to capture photos and videos.
• Microphone: Used only when recording video with audio.
• Photos: Used to read album and folder structure, save captures, add items to selected albums, and perform album, folder, and watermark actions requested by you.
• Full Photos Access: Required to import or synchronize Apple Photos folders. Limited Access does not expose the complete album and folder structure to the App.

You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. Features that depend on a disabled permission will no longer be available.

Information stored on your device

To restore your organization, capture destinations, and watermark settings, the App may store the following locally:

• Category names, order, and identifiers linking categories to albums or Apple Photos folders;
• The selected capture album, album visibility, and camera preferences;
• An optional baby birth date and watermark preferences entered by you;
• Photo identifiers, expiry times, and cleanup status used by the temporary-photo feature;
• Trial status, a purchase-status cache, and onboarding state.

This information is used only to restore settings on your device and is not uploaded to the developer's servers. Uninstalling the App removes most App settings. Photos, videos, albums, and folders in Apple Photos are not automatically removed when the App is uninstalled.

Photos, videos, and temporary files

Captured content is saved in your Apple Photos library. The App may create intermediate files in the device's temporary directory while capturing, sharing, processing Live Photos, or applying watermarks in batches. These files are cleaned up after completion, cancellation, failure, or expiration.

If you enable temporary photos for an album, the App asks iOS to delete expired items according to the retention period you selected. Apple Photos performs the deletion and may request your confirmation.

Apple services and purchases

The App uses Apple StoreKit to process the one-time purchase and restore purchases. It uses the iOS Photos library to access local or iCloud Photos content you have enabled. These services are provided by Apple and are also governed by Apple's privacy policy. The App does not receive your complete payment-card information from Apple.

Sharing and tracking

The App does not sell personal information, share information with advertising networks or data brokers, or track you across apps or websites.

Children's privacy

The App does not intentionally collect children's personal information on the developer's servers. A baby birth date is stored only on your device when you choose to configure the growth-watermark feature.

We may update this policy when features or data-handling practices change. The latest revision date will be shown on this page.
